Edwin Pietersen
Founder & Strategist
Founder of the Greenchild Project, Edwin is driven by a passion for youth development and SETA learnerships. A certified ACC and Enneagram coach with extensive corporate leadership experience, he seamlessly blends business acumen with social impact. He uses his analytical and motivational skills to develop mindful, innovative young leaders.
Kenau Bester
Learning Science & M&E Lead
As our Learning Science and M&E Lead, Kenau draws on seven years of education sector experience. She holds an Honours and a Master’s degree in Literature from Utrecht University. Currently pursuing her PGCE, she utilises her robust analytical expertise to track program outcomes, optimise learning methodologies, and ensure measurable results.
Amy Pietersen
Operations Manager
With over a decade of operational expertise, Amy is a Certified SETA Facilitator and board member dedicated to inclusive education. She empowers marginalised youth through leadership development. She is AWS Technical certified, and is known for her compassionate facilitation, optimising logistics and human potential. She is also Edwin’s younger sister.

No. Ona Learn is built for the teacher who's already in the room. There's no referral process, no separate classroom, and no need to bring in outside specialists. Your teachers bring their lesson as normal, the platform helps them adapt it on the spot.
Ona Learn currently supports six South African languages, plus Swahili, Igbo, and Yoruba.
Institutions license Ona Learn on a per-learner or annual basis, scaled to your size and structure. On a demo call, we'll walk through what that looks like for your specific programme or student numbers.
GreenChild Project already works within established CSI and BBBEE reporting structures, so the outcomes you need to show, whether that's SETA compliance, ESG impact, or scorecard evidence, are built into how we track and report deployments. If your CSI budget alone isn't enough to fund a full cohort, we also run a pooled funding model with other partners to reach meaningful scale.
